First Person: After the Snowstorm in Bayonne, N.J.

Yahoo! News is gathering brief first-person accounts, photos and video from the severe winter weather in the northeastern United States. Here's one resident's story.

FIRST PERSON | The snow storm came and went in Bayonne, N.J. Friday night it seemed intimidating at first with how fast the snow was coming down. I was afraid our power lines would come down with how windy it was. But there was no need for our emergency flashlights and candles. And unlike family that lives out on Long Island, we were lucky enough to not lose our power, cable, and internet.

Looking at pictures that others are posting of their snow storm aftermath, Bayonne definitely did not get hit that hard. Instead of feet we got inches. Families are having fun by taking advantage of the snow and sledding with their kids. People are also already driving out on the streets, though I'm not sure how advisable that is.
