Alex Reid arrested following 'bust-up' at family home | The Sun |News

ALEX Reid is being held by police after he was arrested this morning following an alleged bust-up at the home he shares with Chantelle Houghton.

Reid, 37, is being quizzed on suspicion of causing criminal damage and using violence to secure entry at their home in Brentwood, Essex.

Police were photographed visiting the home this morning. Chantelle's mum was also seen entering the house.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Police were contacted just before 1.30am this morning with reports of a disturbance at a property in Spital Lane, Brentwood.

"A 37-year-old-man from the town was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and using violence to secure entry and is currently in police custody."

Katie Price's cagefighter ex and former Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle have an 11-week-old daughter named Dolly.

But speculation over the future of their on-off relationship has been rife since they hooked up last year.

Alex took time away from the family home earlier this summer, staying at his mother's house for a few days.

He said: "It crosses your mind, and I don?t feel bad about that.
