Jimi Manuwa vs. Cyrille Diabate Set For UFC on FUEL TV 7 In London, England

An exciting stand-up battle between two clinical strikers has been added to UFC on FUEL TV 7, as English light heavyweight Jimi Manuwa (pic) will collide with French veteran Cyrille Diabate when the UFC hits the Wembley Arena in London, on February 16th, 2012.

32 year old Jimi "Poster Boy" Manuwa (12-0) put in a star making performance during his UFC debut, when he repeatedly lit up the face of Kyle Kingsbury back in September, forcing a doctor to call an end to the bout at the end of round two. The win also saw the vicious striker continue his streak of finishing every fight in his career so far. The unbeaten prospect is a former champion of English promotion UCMMA, and defended the 205lb title five times in just over two years.

39 year old Cyrille "The Snake" Diabate (19-8-1) is a veteran of the sport who has spent time with promotions such as DEEP, Cage Rage and PRIDE. The former kickboxer has been with the UFC since 2010, and strung together a very solid 4-2 record in the light heavyweight division, scoring notable wins over Luiz Cane and Steve Cantwell. Most recently the Team Quest fighter tapped out Chad Griggs in the first round at UFC 154.
