Homemade Facial Masks For Rejuvenating Tired Skin Homemade facial masks are easy on pocket and great on skin. They do not cause any side effects and make you look beautiful quickly. You can whip up your own face mask as per the need. Just make sure that you use the mask at least once in a week for best results in long term. Here, we present some of the best homemade facial masks for all skin types.

Egg White and Curd Mask

Take yolk of an egg and mix it with a teaspoon of fat free yogurt. Remember to take thick curd for the mask. If you will take watery curd for the mask, it will become more watery after adding yolk. If, you don?t have thick curd than sieve the watery curd so that you get thickest possible curd for your face mask. Now, apply this mask on wet face and let it stay for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. This mask will tighten your skin pores and will unclog the pores.

Gram Flour and Raw Milk Mask

A household favorite mask in Indian households, this mask removes tan and makes skin brighter. You need to add a tablespoon of raw milk in a tablespoon of gram flour for making this mask. You can also add a pinch of turmeric to this paste. If you have oily skin that you can add a few drops of lemon also during summers.

Mix this paste well to form a smooth paste. Apply this mask on your face and neck. Let it air dry and then wash off with plain water with the help of a wash cloth. Since gram flour tends to stick to the skin, use a washcloth gently to remove the mask. Do not rub the washcloth vigorously on your face else you may hurt your skin.

Ripe Banana Mask

Ripe banana is an excellent moisturizer for facial skin. It suits all skin types and hydrates skin from within. Just take a ripe banana and mash it well to form a smooth paste.

You can add a few drops of essential oils like rosemary or lavender of your choice. Now apply this mask on your face and neck and wait for some time. Wash off with plain water.

Almonds and Milk Mask

Take a handful of almonds and soak them in milk overnight. In the morning, grind the almonds to form a smooth paste. You can add more milk if the paste becomes too thick. Apply this mask on your face and neck and let it air dry. Wash off after 30 minutes. You will get a brighter and plump skin.

Oatmeal and Yogurt Mask

Take a tablespoon of finely ground oatmeal. The oatmeal should be finely ground otherwise the face mask will not stay on face. A teaspoon of fat free yogurt and a few drops of honey. You can warm the honey in order to mix it well in the facemask. Now, apply this facemask on your face and neck and wait for 15 ? 20 minutes or till it dries. Wash off with plain water. Apply moisturizer immediately after washing the mask.

Breadcrumbs, Milk and Honey Facemask

Take a tablespoon of finely ground breadcrumbs. Mix them in a tablespoon of lukewarm milk. You can also add half teaspoon of honey to this mask. Keep the mask in bowl for 5 ? 10 minutes so that crumbs may get a bit softer. Now apply this face mask on your face and let it air dry. Remove the mask in circular motions with dry hands first and then wash off with plain water. You skin will instantly feel brighter and tighter.

Cucumber and Lime Juice Face Mask

Take a tablespoon of cucumber juice. You can grate a cucumber and extract its juice for the mask. Now add a few drops of lime juice into it. If you have dry skin than add a tea spoon of glycerine also to this mix.

Finally, add some wheat flour into it and make a smooth paste. Apply this mask on your face and neck. Let it air dry and then wash off with plain water. It will remove the tan and will instantly make your skin look clean and brighter.

Fenugreek Mask

Take a tablespoon of fenugreek leaves and grind them into a fine paste. If you have dry skin, add a teaspoon of milk cream into it. Apply this green mask on your face and neck and wait for 20 minutes. Wash off with plain water. This mask will remove all kind of spots from your face and will give you a flawless complexion.
